tried to look in deleted internet files and cookies, and recycle bin but not having any luck.

As an administrator, to audit user access, you have to first enable the Audit Object Access. To see how this can be done, refer the page below:

Reply to Harris's Post: I have windows xp home addition and it looks like audit user access only works with xp professional.
