When I sort from a list all of my records are not showing up. I have a total of 1236 records and it only sorts from 752?

Optional Information:
OS: Windows 2000; Browser: AOL

Already Tried:
I have tried to sort data from the first column list for a specific category but my excel database will only list from 752 records instead of the total records of 1263. Can I call you directly to get help?

The reason for this to happen is either you are not selecting the complete range before sorting, or there are formulas in some cells that point to rows above or below them. Is this the case?

Greetings,

I don't think this is the case.

How can I select all of the records and then sort the information that I need from one columns list?

I have a total of 1,263 but when I tried to sort one list for example all of my attendees from a past show that has a code for "CCE" it is only bringing up 80 records out of 752. The other records are not showing up from the total records of 1,263.

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),

I gather from your answer to my two questions that you are 1) making a correct selection of all the table before sorting and 2) there are no formulas in the cells. If the answer is yes to both let me know so that we can go to the next step.

Greetings,

Now I understand. There is no formulas in the data at that I'm selected.

Are you saying that I should selected the entire column first , next click the sort button and then sort from there.
