hey there, just got around to your answer. you are right about taking the battery out of MB. I did it 2 days ago! figured it out on my own. thanks any ways!!!                                I do have another problem.. I need to DELETE a copy of 2000XP HOME.I have 2 on same PC.

I understand -- bear in mind though, that this site works on an honor system and we depend an awful lots on the ratings to determine whether we will help a customer or not.

My answer for the admin password was correct in ecery way. I gave you detailed instructions on how to create a floppy and how to clear the password. This answer should be accepted since there is no other way to get past this, except for reinstalling the OS.
