Hi Tromie:
Generally all you have to do is plug the microphone into the back of the computer, usually into the pink jack. Some computers have a front panel jack for a microphone, so again, you plug it into the pink jack on most computers.
I'm not sure if I answered your question since I don't know what you are using the microphone for, but this is generally how you do it.
