help with my e-mail receiving messages

I installed a trial version of windows xp and my e-mail receive inbox worked fine. Then I purchased the product and now my e-mail receive messages no longer workes. Error message 0x80042108 unable to connect to your incomming pop3 e-mail server. I checked the pop3 server protocol and it's the same as before. Any suggestions. I will give you my alternate e-mail address. My primary e-mail adderess is XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX.

For try this for frontiernet

Tools-> Accounts
Click on the mail tab, highlight your default mail account, click on properties
Look in there under the server tab for the following settings, make sure they are correct.

POP3 Server name is mail.frontiernet.net
SMTP Server name is mail.frontiernet.net
you must check the box that says "My server requires authentication," and set the option to "use the same username and password as the incoming mail server."
