Have not split into DE & FE since will be used by clients with MS Access 2K and they would not be compatible.

Probably dozen or less clients

Access project that I want left as Access and connect remotely.

mgregory,

You should investigate connecting to the assigned DSN through OBDC on your desktops. You can link to the server based tables. Sometimes a little slow but in your case probably not noticeable to the end users. OBDC is accessable via various paths on different operating systems. If memory serves me correctly, via admin tools on both 2000 and xp.

Reply to CompuHelp's Post: problem with server access is when you use dsn for ms sql db, then you have to recreate the web interface with .asp pages.

Also, have discovered that most servers in datacenters will no longer support data access pages.

Now I'm relegated to doing the following:

Set them up on dedicated box. Use remote admin prog to manipulate/update MS Access database, forms, etc.

Allow end users to get to the database via Windows Terminal Server.

I will have to create links for dtabase on server and build an interface for them to select another database that is now planned.
