publisher help
Sent to Computer Experts March 31 01:09 AM

I have microsoft publisher 2000, I was told that there was a way to save publication designs. Such as when I create a new calendar, I move and change it to fit what I need. How do I save that design and just update the date without changing everything back to the original? I only want the month and days to change and everything else to stay the way I changed it to. Is this possible? If so could you please tell me how? I would greatly appreciate it. It would save me a lot of time everymonth for my job. Thank you.

 To save your publication

1.       On the File menu, click Save.

2.       In the File Name box, type a name for your calendar.

3.       If necessary, move to the drive and folder in which you want to save your calendar.

Click the Save button to save the file.

When you open a file that you have saved and want to make changes, but save the original that you opened, use 'SAVE AS', to save it as a different file.

Reply to Eric's Post: THAT WAS NOT WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I KNOW HOW TO SAVE THE FILE. IN PUBLISHER 2000- YOU GO IN AND CREATE A CALENDAR. I CHANGE THE WHOLE ORIGINAL SET UP FROM WHAT THE GIVE ME IN THEIR PUBLICATION DESIGNS, TO MAKE IT FIT FOR ME. HOWEVER, THE NEXT MONTH WHEN I JUST WANT TO UPDATE THE MONTH AND DAYS, I CLICK ON UPDATE MONTH AND IT GOES BACK TO THE ORIGIANL FORMAT. SO I HAVE TO CHANGE IT ALL AGAIN. OR I HAVE TO CHANGE THE MONTH TITLE AND ALL OF THE DAYS MYSELF. BUT I WAS TOLD THAT THERE IS A WAY TO SAVE THAT DESIGN, SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO RE-DO ALL OF YOUR WORK EVERY TIME. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO DO THIS?
