You need to actually install the Flash player in order to view flash files -- you can do that here for free : Flash Player

Hope this helps.

Is there anyway you can give me a screen shot of what you are seeing? This doesn't make any sense.

Have you tried rebooting after the install? You need to do that in order for the install to work.

Reply to Stephen's Post: u dont understand i cannot install it it is not in my computer. when i click DOWNLOAD it brings me to the next step. the only thing that comes up is a square box with the red "x" in corner. i can go no further with it. and it says on bottom of box "u may need to click the gold bar at top of browser window to install. but there is no gold bar to even help me there. i looked in my add and remove programs and it is not there. where else can i look to see if it is anywhere in here.

OOOHHH!! Ok. sorry - it is late. :)

It sounds like you might be blocking popups. See if there is a lightbulb at the bottom of the browser when you are at that page. Click on that and allow macromedia.com to spawn pop ups.

That might solve the problem.

Ok try this :

Type about:config into the Firefox location bar.
Right-click on the page and select New and then Integer.
Name it privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins
Set the value to 0.

Let me know if this helps. This has really got me stumped, so I am kind of grasping at straws.
