Can email that I sent in Jan 2005 to a specific address be retrieved from my hard drive? This email is very important, How can it be retrieved. Uses hotmail.com? Did not save the email.

Check your Sent Items folder. If it is not there, you will not be able to recover the message.

However, if you use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, or some other e-mail software that installs on your computer, you may be able to retrieve it using the program.

Reply to Zealot's Post: I already got this answer, it is not on my sent box and I use internet explorer. I see on TV email being retrieved after years from the hard drive, that is what I am asking for help on.
