Hello, and welcome to Just Answer!

Just to confirm i understand your question correctly;

You would like to place the news story you have onto DVD's, so that it can be placed in a standard DVD player and viewed. Is that correct?

You need to use a DVD Creator package, like these:

http://www.sonic.com/products/Consumer/MyDVD/default.aspx?ccid=google&o_e25=Paid%20Search&gclid=CIjhxPKU5IUCFRsYUgodmg5LTQ

http://www.007-dvd.com/007-dvd-creator.htm (free trial download)

Or http://www.roxio.com/en/index.jhtml;jsessionid=KDUEI1ZZD54IECQAMYWR3KQ?_requestid=1387033

All three of these pieces of software are well respected and very easy to use.

Please let me know if i can help you further.

Kind regards,

Duncan

Reply to D Steiger-Bowers BA (Hons)'s Post: I just got the 007 software ... I burned a DVD+RW and it wouldn't play even on my computer ... so I a put it a fresh disk ... DVD+R and am burning it now.

Both don't work on 2 different DVD players ... what's more, my computer doesn't even recognize the disks. I had better luck with HP DVD Write ... with that I could replay a burned DVD+RW.

Hello

Ok, that sounds strange.

Can i ask you to burn a different file onto disk (ie a movie), in case the problem lies in the news report file?

Regards,

Duncan
