I keep getting HTTP 404 error on my pc and some times ...

I keep getting HTTP 404 error on my pc and some times 505 error. I cant use much of my pc. PLEASE HELP THANK YOUOptional Information: OS: Windows XP; Browser: IEAlready Tried: I have tried restore but the backups dont work. there must be a driver missing.Ican access my email on my wifes side of the pc but can do can do little on mine. some times parent connect xp comes up as my home page. hers still works. I think I deleted a hotfix? on my side.

404 simply means the website name is not correct please type it more carfully . if the pc works on your wifes side go into the controll panal and create a new user and transfer all your files

Reply to Rhys Durham's Post: I been working on her side, I stil cannot download programs without them being damaged. Ive seen the web site is not correct comment ,I cant even access my email. This happens when I try to go to the next page. If I download something everythings good til I try to open . Nothings there. Theres something missing?

hmm... well have you tried creating a new user and setting it as the admin. account and wat type of pc have you got a dell or.... if you have a dell i can make things 10 times easy'er
