In Dreamweaver CS3 - How do I get a featured item on my website magnified and in a separate pop up window?

Optional Information:
OS: Mac OS X; Browser: Firefox

Already Tried:
I've linked web image to enlarged jpeg. When browsing it opens on existing browser window. Needs to be it's own window. Similar to what retail sellers do with product.

I'm new to Dreamweaver and I can't write code. Can you break your answer out into steps within the Dreamweaver program. What I'm tring to accomplish is this: I have a gallery of images at a small size on one of my web pages. I want the visitor to be able to click on each image to engage a new window showing same item larger, frame size can be determined by larger jpeg dimensions. Otherwise I'm still lost as how to do this. Really appreciate your input, thank you.

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),

Dreamweaver has good tutorials to get you started with learning how to use the program. Basically there are two main views for constructing web pages. The Design view and teh Code view. You can set properties for items. To set the target attribute of the link choose this in the properties section when you create the link.

You will get a better effect though by using the Lightbox JS or Lightbox JS2. These have good easy instructions for setting up your site with these free scripts. You simply copy and paste the lines of code into the your page and change the filenames to match your images.
