Computer question

Someone told me how to make the letters larger in an email (for people with poor eyesight). It was simple - I think you hit two keys together or you hold down one while hitting another.   I did that but now they are too big and I don't know how to make them smaller.    Thank you. Right click on your desktop > choose properties > Click the Display Settings Tab > Change the DPI to a size you are more comfortable with.

Hope this helps.

Reply to Stephen's Post: I did as you said -R clicked on desktop-clicked on properties and the settings tab - Settings tab showed screen resolution and color quality. What happened? What did I do wrong? When I made the letters larger I did it in an email. I would think I could make the letters go back to the original size by making the correction in an email.

Are you trying to change the settings for your entire System, or just for email?

Also - are you using XP - or a different version of Windows?

Reply to Stephen's Post: Sorry I'm not anticipating your questions. In cases like this I realize how little I know about computers. I am using Yahoo for email.

That's ok -- if you knew everything about computers, I would be out of a job... LOL

If you want to do this with the keyboard then you can open Internet Exploere and hit

Alt-V and then hit X.
Move to the text size option that best meets your needs by pressing the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key.

Press ENTER.

Hope this helps.

Reply to Stephen's Post: OK! Got it. Thanks. It wasn't the same way I made the letters larger but it has made them smaller. I am now using the medium size instead of the larger.

I accepted earlier. Do I have to accept again? Or are we through? Can I say good bye and go back to the men's semi finals at the US Open? I believe the $9 I offered and you accepted as already been deducted from my account.
