Hello again,
Database Administrators (DBAs) perform many tasks. They are responsible for backing up the databases each day. They ensure security getting into the database. They create views and queries to get information from SQL databases for customers as well.
7) First, we use Windows NT authentication. Your login ID must be given specific rights to the server that the database resides on. Without access to the server a person cannot get to the DB. Secondly, each database has a specific password to open it. These are monitored by the DBAs. We also log who accesses a DB and monitor what queries were run. This ensures not only that the right people are in the Database, but that they are doing the right things!

Ryan
