I am trying to install CorelX3 and have this message pop up: error 1606.could not access network location. What should I do and what does it mean?

 

Optional Information:
OS: Windows XP; Browser: IE

Already Tried:
Have removed old vertion of corel. then install coral 3x. get error 1606could not access networklocation

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy);

The copy of Corel that you have is for a network. Not for an individual computer. What it is doing is looking for the mainframe of the system where the majority of the files are kept. Once it finds these files it installs only those needed by the satillite computer to use the files on the mainframe.

If you purchased this as a single system prograam you need to return it to the place of purchase and get the right one.
