When I call up Goggle on my Netscape browser I no longer get Goggle, instead I get ads for miles. How can I fix this?

You most likely have adware or spyware redirecting your browser. There are a lot of programs to help you get rid of them, some of them free. Personally I use spybot it seems to work well.

Let me know if you need more help...

Reply to thekins118's Post: yes, I agree and a couple days back got Ad Aware software from LavaSoft. I don't want to get rid of all my cookies though (some are useful).

Is there a way I can zero in on which adware or spyware (from an address on the browser, for instance?) I should be deleting and quarantining? Thanks for your help so far.

I recently went through the same thing.

It can be tough to get rid of.

I would suggest that you restart your computer in safe mode. You can do this by pushing f8 as it reboots. When you are running in safe mode, go to -

control panel >> add/remove programs

Remove any programs that you have not purposefully added to your computer.

Change your home page as well back to google.

Then restart in regular mode and see if that helps.
