External Hard Drive
Sent to Computer Experts October 05 07:00 AM

I have a hard drive that I got from a friends computer and installed it in an external drive case. I pluged it in to a usb port on the front of my computer and pluged it in to a power suply. My Computer recognizes it but I can't open it. It is considered an F drive. Why can't I open it? It also will not let me format it, and it says it is partitioned. All I want it for is to keep my pictures from my camera on there but I can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone tell a way to get it to work.
