hello we bought a computer system which the shop told us has a dvd re-writer which i presume means i can copy films to dvd but alas am completely computer illiterate and do not know the first place to start can you help ?

I would like to help you on this, but will be needing a little more information. Could you walk me through exactly what your plans are? ie Are you wanting to put home videos on DVD, backup VHS or DVD... etc.
