Hello,
I am not able to open Word attachments in my e-mail. When I clicked on the link, an error message "unknown file format" popped up, and the program used to open the document was Microsoft Photo Editor. How do I reset my Word program to open in Word, and not the Photo Editor?
Thanks,
Greg

The easiest way I can think of would be to save the file to your computer where you know where it is, say the desktop. Then right click the file and click properties. Once the properties window is open select the general tab, if not already selected. It will say Type of file: XXXXXXX
Opens with: Microsoft Photo Editor [Change ...]

Click on Change and then select Word. You may have to browse for it, but it will change that file type to open with word. If you need any more help please let me know.
