can a username and password be imported to my computers history over the internet

OS: Windows XP; Browser: IE

Already Tried:
a username &password have appeared in my comp history that gives access to a persons myspace. no one in my home has put it there could it have been hacked in or sent over the internet somehow?

Very very very unlikely. If it's in the history then your computer has been there before.

Having said that, pop ups will also appear in your history. So it could have been an ad?

To be on the safe side, if you are on a wireless network make sure it is secure. Also, make sure all your virus protections are up to date.

Again, it's VERY unlikely. If you have kids around their teen years I'd have a talk with them.... Images available only to Customers.
