computer start up slow and a New installation Wizard opens up and I havent got anything new plugged in

Optional Information:
OS: Windows XP

Already Tried:
Dont know what to try? I switch on and the sign"Semptex fills the screen for about 2mins then it goes blank for 1min then slowley 2/3mins loads. then the install wizard pops up then after about 4mins i am able to use the computer??? John

After you have done these things, I suspect that your other problem will go away as well.

No suicide is definitely not an option for you.

If you cannot run that application, I wouldn't worry about it, do the other stuff and see if that helps.

If not there are other options to explore.

Can you tell me the specs of your system.

How much HDD space do have - how much is available ?
how much RAM ?
processor speed ?

You are asking "Dum Dum of the week" all these techie questions all I know is i have a 40gig with 22gig spare! Where nthe other info is I know not....i went into search and found Msgigi what not and deleted a few that i knew... I still for some reason get   "The Wizard will help you load the new hardware"????   I am away filming up until saturday at dunsfold Aerodrome so I wont be on this computer until at least Sunday...I will look up this page on my return...many thanks for your patience.....john
