can not turn off my laptop computer help

I suppose you meant some ways other than the START menu -> Shut down? Have you tried depressing the power switch for a few seconds?

called someone when I didn't get an immediate becaues i was affraid the computer would start a fire

i HAD MY COMPUTER RUNNING IN AN HOUR...BY REMOVING BATTERY AND WAITING...BUT IT BACK AND ALL WAS NORMAL...i AM PAYING NOT FOR THE HELP THAT YOU GAVE...BUT I RUSHED FOR HELP THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE AN IMMEDIATE CHAT RESPONSE. YOU ARE CERTAINLY NOT BEING PPAID FOR QUAITY.
